The Municipality of Újbuda handed over the rapid-charger - developed by evopro - on Vincellér Street. This is the first free EV-charging station in the 11th district. The investment was launched by tender, supported by the Ministry for National Economy.

From mid-March, the evopro charging station on Vinceller Street can be used any time during the day. The user-friendly EV-charger allows simultaneous AC and DC charging, furthermore it has CSS, CHAdeMO and Type2 connectors. "We are trying to take the lead of using 21st century solutions, that is why with our Smart City program, we carry out more and more investments in the fields of education, environmental protection, office operations, and electromobiles, in terms of sustainability and innovation." - said Tamás Hoffmann, Mayor of Újbuda. With the rapid-charger even charging up to 80% is possible in less than 30 minutes.
