This is the seventh year in a row that evopro Ltd. is the main sponsor of the National PLC programming competition, which has seen 20 entries this year.

Strengthening its continued commitment towards engineering education, evopro Ltd. was the main sponsor of the National Control Technology Programming Competition – for the seventh year in a row in the competition's almost 20 year history.  This year the traveling competition was held at University of Szeged's Engineering Faculty between April 11 and 13. The competition has seen a record number of contestants: a total of 58 engineering students from 14 faculties of 9 institutions organized in 20 teams. Besides the increased number of contestants it is also iOn the second day the contestants had to solve a problem that evopro has prepared. Due to the large number of contestants evopro has presented two models, both of which were highly praised by the jury for its originality, and for its relation to the technology and the competition's subject. The competition was won by the students of the Mihály Pollack Engineering Faculty of the University of Pécs. 

evopro has provided high-level support not only in the technical and organizational aspects of the event, but – together with Bosch Rexroth – it has also donated a complex piece of technology for educational purposes to the University of Szeged.
