Magyarregula2008, Hungary’s most prestigious control technology and industry automation exhibition was open for four days in February, where evopro attended as well. The evopro booth has also raised the interest of attendants at the two-day Pollack-EXPO, the largest electrical, building and engineering industry expo in the South Transdanubium region.

At the mixer plant of Algida in Veszprém an evopro developed PCS7 based system is mixing, homogenizing and pasteurizing the ingredients as per a given recipe and it also transports the intermediate product to cooling tanks.

Evopro Ltd. has replaced the outdated APACS+-InTouch DCS system of the Columbian Tiszai Carbon Ltd. at its soot plant in Tiszaújváros with a modern PCS7 process control system.

Succesful proposals

Altogether, 184 proposals were received for the Ányos Jedlik Program: tender and the proposal put forth by a consortium consisting of evopro, Chemistry Logic as well as the Budapest University of Technology and Economics was amongst the 56 winners. The previously mentioned K+F project has increased its success even further, thanks to the winning proposal titled “Developing Technologies to Help Research Molecules with Medicinal Potentials Effectively on Reconfigurable Computers”.

After developing and installing the trial system in Nuremberg, evopro has also participated in the modernization of the package and letter sorting system of the Swiss postal service.

Siemens has organized a conference for System Integrators in Siófok in November 2007. A few workshops were conducted by evopro employees at the two-day event.
