For the ninth consecutive year the Family-Friendly Workplace Awards have been given. Companies which promote faculty and staff in balancing the demands of work, personal life and parenting could participate in the competition. In the category of small and medium-sized enterprises evopro has won.

For the ninth consecutive year the Family-Friendly Workplace Awards have been given. Companies which promote faculty and staff in balancing the demands of work, personal life and parenting could participate in the competition. In the category of small and medium-sized enterprises evopro has won.


In 2008, those companies (small, medium or large-sized enterprises, financial frameworks and non-governmental organizations) could apply for the awards, which were able to assist employees in managing the challenges of work and family life. The initiatives aim at searching for good and efficient examples and at promoting them. The winners are entitled to keep the rank “Family-Friendly Workplace 2008” for a year.

Receiving this recognition more criteria have been researched on workplace policies, programs and services, such as the ratio of men to women in leadership, wage policy, courses and trainings and allowances. Besides, applicants have to offer programmes including events at workplace, parental leave and opportunities for fathers to be more engaged in the lives of their families.

Requirements for application have become stricter; questions are more detailed and evaluation process includes on-site visit. Paying a visit at the applying companies enables the jury to have a look into their every-day life.

evopro, the winner in the medium-sized category, has created its own internal procedures and regulations. From flexible working hours and home office to celebrating together are all included in the principles of our corporate culture and values.
