Our colleague, Dr. István Szatmári, held a presentation about the diagnostic measurements of railroad wheels at the Factory Automation Conference

The traveling conference - which is well-respected amongst professionals - was hosted this year by the University of Pannonia at Veszprém on May 21-22. The event was organized by the Scientific Society For Measurement, Automation And Informatics (known by its Hungarian abbreviation as MATE) together with the University of Pannonia and with the Hungarian section of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

The English language conference has yet again featured a diverse set of quality sessions in the field of manufacturing automation: there were a total of 45 presentations in 12 sections for the attendees, mostly researchers and experts representing various institutions and industries from Hungary and from abroad.

evopro was not only a sponsor of the conference, but also a presenter: our colleague, Dr. István Szatmári, expert of the Innovative Solutions department, has held a presentation about the mathematical background of detecting faults in railroad wheels in the Monitoring and Diagnostics session.

The two-day program has closed with a visit to Valeo Auto-Electric Ltd., a supplier to the auto industry where research and development activity is also highly emphasized.
